Jeremy Holmes of FROGBOX Seattle has been nominated for Sustainable Seattle’s Sustainability Award. On December 16th from 5- 9 pm, Sustainable Seattle will celebrate the passing year and announce award recipients. They will award individuals, organizations and initiatives for their leadership in bringing positive change towards one of the 24 goals within Sustainable Seattle’s fourth iteration of Regional Sustainability Indicators. Jeremy is truly honoured by this award nomination.
Sustainable Seattle has been in operation for over 15 years and is taking some huge strides to reach out to the business community. Sustainablity has to start at home, but to see true transformation on the scale that is needed we will need to see businesses get on board. Sustainable Seattle is doing exactly this, reaching out to businesses in the Seattle area and working with them to create cultures that foster environmental responsibility and social justice. FrogBox has participated in several events with Sustainable Seattle and we are looking forward to partnering with them for many future events. We appreciate the education and leadership that they provide within Seattle. They help us to reflect on environmental issues within an interconnected web that includes communities and economies.
