As spring finally rolls into Vancouver, not only do we get some nice weather, we have the opportunity to attend some great events that focus on sustainability. Here are some of our favourites. Please stop by and say hello if you make it out.

Earth Day –April 18th There are many events planned for Earth Day. One of the largest is Evergreens 9th Annual Earth Day celebration. Together with the Jericho Stewardship Group, they invite you to join in and help them plant 4,000 native trees and plants in Jericho Beach Park (west side). This will be a new record! Evergreen is a not-for-profit organization that makes cities more livable. By deepening the connection between people and nature, and empowering Canadians to take a hands-on approach to their urban environments, Evergreen is improving the health of our cities – now and for the future.
Earth Run – April 26th, Stanley Park, 5K race Through funding local initiatives, the Earth Run Foundation helps people improve the quality of life in their communities and for all residents on the planet.
EPIC –Sustainable Living Expo, Vancouver Convention Center –May 8th-10th EPIC is a solutions-based, family-oriented event, designed to educate and entertain.
