Since beginning this blog, I’ve been slightly more obsessed with boxes than I should be (or so my family tells me). Lately, I’ve been consumed mostly with shipping boxes – and, of course, the
over-packaging that goes into them. But I just heard about an excellent box idea for another time we need those suckers, oh, so desperately: moving time.
Yes, moving time presents its own set of box woes. First, it’s the hassle of hustling up the boxes which usually begins with begging your local grocer for some empty ones. He likely doesn’t have as many as you need so might end up purchasing costly ones from a moving van company. Then it’s time to assemble the flattened boxes and be certain to tape up the packages so all your goodies won’t go flying out during the move. And of course, just like with shipping, these boxes are only needed temporarily. (Except in the case of my cousin, who has likely still not unpacked from his move a year ago…)

FROGBOX. When I found out about this company I was ecstatic. FrogBox has a unique and fantastic solution to your box woes, offering “an easy, affordable and best of all
environmentally-friendly alternative to those easily water-damaged, puncture-prone, landfill-bound cardboard moving boxes.”
What do they do? They have their “reusable plastic boxes delivered to your door when you need them and picked up from your new door when you’re done.” Sorry, I have to read that one again. You bring them to me? And pick them up? No assembling, tape or waste? Almost makes it sound stress-free to move. Almost.
